I.                  靈修的話

His Touch Inspires, Encourages and Heals

『衪的關懷激勵、鼓勵我與治癒我的病』

Oh, Lord, I do hear You…. 主啊，我的確聽到你的聲音

   I hear You every day;  我每天都聽到

And I see the amazing beauty 也看到驚人之美

That you always send my way! 它總是朝我送過來!

So, I’d never take for granted 因此我永不視為理所當然

This kind offering from You, 這件你恩賜的慈善禮物，

As I travel throughout my lifetime- 當我歷經我的一生時-

   I love all you say and do! 我敬愛你說的話，和所做的一切

   You inspire me to go, 你激勵我向前

  Yet, another exhausting mile- 但在另一場令人疲憊的旅程中

After a short disheartened while. 在我經歷一個短暫灰心的片刻之後。

  You encourage me to do 你鼓勵我去做

All the things that are close and dear; 所有迫切和親切的事

As you fill my anxious soul with lots of hope-當你讓我焦慮的心中充滿無限希望時

  I feel You near! 就感覺你就在身邊!

All these treasures that I’m given- 你所賜給我的所有財寶-

That’s why I see that life is precious 也因此我才明白生命是寶貴的

II聖經研究：

中譯經文主題：『我是好牧人，好牧人為羊捨命-約翰福者10:11』，若是僱工不是牧人，羊也不是他自己的，他看見狼來了，就撇下羊逃走，狼抓住羊，趕散了羊群』。-約翰福者10:12』

英譯版本之比較：

1)      I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the shepherd. (11) When the hired hand sees the wolf coming, he leaves the sheep and runs away. That’s because he isn’t the shepherd; the sheep aren’t really his. So the wolf attacks the sheep and scatters them. (12)- Common English Bible

2)      I am the good shepherd. The Good Shepherd risks and lays down his (own) life for the sheep (11). But the hired servant (he who merely serves for wages) who is neither the shepherd nor the owner of the sheep, when he sees the wolf coming, deserts the flock and runs away.  And the wolf chases and snatches

 them and scatters (the flock) (12)-Amplified Bible

以上兩種英譯本與中文版大同小異。此兩節均為比喻，Shepherd應指神，這些羊(眾生)乃神之主民。神有義務護衛其子民，免受惡人(狼群) 之傷害。

I.                  靈修的話

Snowy Day 下雪的日子

I was looking from my window   我望著窗外

    On a very snowy day;       在某一個下大雪的日子

  The beauty was splendid,      雪景十分優美

I just had to stop and pray.      我不得不開始禱告。

I told God how much I loved Him  我告訴神多麼敬仰祂

   As I bowed my had to say,     當我低下頭說，

“Thank you, God, for all Your love  「神，感謝您一切的愛

   You have shown me today.”     它是您今日賜給我的。」

   The beauty was so splendid    是如此之美

I could scarcely believe my eyes,   以致我不相信自己的眼睛，

Then I realized how great God is,   然後我明白神是多麼偉太

   How marvelous and wise.      多麼了不起，多意有智慧。

Only God could paint a picture    只有神才能為我畫出

   So lovely and serene;         如此可愛和安祥的一幅畫

Only God could paint a picture    只有神才能為我畫出

   Like the one that I had seen.   如同我看過的那一幅畫。

So, I give God all the glory        因此，我向神獻上所有的光耀

   For allowing me to see        感謝祂讓我看到了

The earth and all its beauty,      宇宙大地之美

II.               聖經研究：

中譯經文主題：「他從高天伸手抓住我，把我從大水中拉上來」-撒母耳記下22:17。「他救我脫離我的勁敵，和那些恨我的人，因為他們比我強盛。」-22:18

英譯版本之比較：

1)      “He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters”: (Samuel 22:17) “he delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.” (22:18) -King James Version

2)      “You reached down from heaven, and you lifted me from deep in the ocean.”-17 “You rescued me from enemies who were hateful and too powerful for me.”-18-Contemporary English Version

3)      “He sent from on high, he took me, He drew me out of many waters;”-17

“He delivered me from my strong enemy, from them that hated me; for they were too mighty for me-18- American Standard Version

4)      “From on high God reached down and grabbed me; he took me out of deep waters. “-17 “God saved me from my powerful enemy, saved me from my foes, who were too much for me.”-18 Contemporary English Bible.

個人看法：

中文版和英文版譯義接近，只是用字不同：

1)      解救，多半用save，但英譯本用deliver…..from, 含釋出(release) 之義

2)      中譯，「他們比我強盛」，與英譯有很大差別，本義應為「無法抗拒的敵人」，而非中譯之義。此處的中譯，有點牽強，因原英譯強調的是「負面意義」。

3)      “too strong(powerful, mighty) for me”, 後省略(to fight against) ；4) 卻用toomuch for me；此處的too much含too hard (for me to deal with)- 難於對付之義。

綜合上述，原中譯本17,18兩節，可酌予更改為現代白話：

「神自天上伸出手來，把我從水中救出(17)，使我脫離我無法抗拒的敵人和對我仇恨的人(18)」。

17節乃比喻(figure of speech)-「神幫我脫離苦海」；18節則具體說明，此苦海乃指「敵人及仇恨我的人」。至於「從高天伸手抓住我，把我從大水中拉上來」，亦為比喻：「神位居天堂，拯救凡間受苦受難的凡人」。

以上純屬個人看法，敬請指教

I.                  靈修的話

          Saying Yes! 承諾!

    When the circumstances      當我們人生之境遇

Of our lives seem truly grim,   似乎十分艱難時，

That is just the perfect time     那才是完美的時刻

To let our thoughts creep in,    讓我們的想法悄悄地產生

   Affirming actions positive    肯定正面積極的行動                                                                     

And not accept a “woe.”    而非消極地接受「悲哀」。

It’s time to let our troubles free. 此時該釋出煩惱。

   It’s time to let them go!            該遠離它們!

We must affirm within ourselves 我們必須對自己肯定

   And others in our way                以及明確告訴阻礙我們的人

That we will get beyond the feat, 我們有意願超越這個壯舉

   “Aglow” we’ll be today!            今日我們就會「發光、發熱」!

  We’ll put a plan in action;         我們會將計劃付之行動

  No negative confess.                   而不會招認負面的想法

We’ll simply pull our book straps up 我們會僅僅解開束縛

   By saying, “Yes, Lord, Yes!”     說出「主啊, 肯定如此!」

A) 中譯經文主題：

「這律法書不可離開你的口，總要晝夜思想，好使你謹守遵行這書上寫的一切話，如此你的道路就可以亨通，凡事順利。」-約書亞記1:8 (Joshua 1:8)

B) 英譯版本之比較：

1)      This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.- King James Version.

2)      This book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success. -Amplified Bible

3)      Never stop speaking about this Instruction scroll.  Recite it day and night so you can carefully obey everything written in it.  Then you will accomplish your objectives and you will succeed.- Common English Bible

4)      The book of this law shall not depart from your mouth.  Instead, you shallmeditate upon it, day and night, so that you may observe and do all the things that are written in it.  Then you shall direct your way and understand it. -Catholic Public Domain Version

看法：

1.      「這律法書不可離開你的口…」- 應指「不時提及」，因此英譯  3) 用Never stop speaking about this Instruction scroll. 比較合乎現代英語；其他用文言英語，如用depart out of your mouth如1), 2),4) 則較難懂。而猶太版用keep…on your lips，不時講到它，亦屬明確。

2.      「律法書」-book of law，3) 譯成Instruction scroll (教諭捲軸) ，5) 猶太版用  book of Torah更清楚。

3.      「晝夜思想」，由meditate譯出，然  meditate 有think deeply(沈思) 之義，與一般思想有程度上之別。3) 用recite-背誦，也與meditate不同。

4.      「謹守遵行」，中文版譯自observe, 十分恰當。5) 猶太版用  take care to，份量稍嫌不足。3) 英譯用carefully obey (小心遵奉) 亦可。

5.      「你的道路就可以亨通」，1), 2),5) 三個英譯文略同，5) 用  undertakings (從事的事業) 比way更好。Making the way prosperous-使成功之道繁茂，即 一路成功。但3) 用 accomplish your objectives (完成目標)，還是成功之義。

6.      「凡事順利」，1) 用  have good success ，2) 則另加  deal wisely (明智地應事)，而4) 天主教版，卻用shall direct your way and understand it，(引導你，並瞭解它) ，未直接提到「事業亨通」。

綜合上述，原中譯本可酌予更改為現代白話：「你們應時常提到這本律法書、日夜審思它、並奉行書上的每句話，那麼諸事就會成功順利。」

I.                  靈修的話

“Free to Love”!  「愛是免費的」

Love is a word so powerful  愛是十分強而有力的字語

It holds all of God’s greatest gifts….. 它握有神最偉大的恩賜

‘Cause it keeps the soul feeling happy  因它持續讓我們的心快樂

And it never shuts down, it just shifts! 同時它從不關閉，只是移轉而已!

     Love is unconditional  愛是無條件的

When it’s true as God had planned….. 當它如神原先計劃一樣真實時…..

And breeds through the heart of its giver, 同時藉由施與者的心而滋生，

Or can spread from one’s kind, helpful hand!  或能夠從慈愛、助人的手傳佈他人

     Love is free to those who accept it, 對於接受它的人，愛是免費的，

And works wonders on those who show doubt.  在那些持有疑惑者身上，它會產生奇蹟。

Cause once they open their heart to God’s gifts, 因為他們一旦敞開心胸接納神的贈品時，

 Then love’s what they’ll always give out!  那麼愛就是他們將永遠施出的東西。

英譯版本之比較：

1)      “Alas, O Sovereign Lord Jehovah! Look! You made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm.  Nothing is too wonderful for you,  - New World Translation

2)      “Alas, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! There is nothing too hard or toowonderful for You- “ Amplified Bible

註：本版多加Behold (注視) 與wonderful，強調創造天地一事不但艱難，而且奇觀

3)      “Lord God, you stretched out your mighty arm and made the sky and the earth.  You can do anything. “ Contemporary English Verson

4)      “Sovereign Lord, you made the earth and the sky by your great power andmight; nothing is too difficult for you.”- Catholic Edition

          註：本版多加Sovereign -主宰

5)      “Ah Lord (God)! Behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.”-King James Version

註：本版多加Behold (注視)

本段經文各種英譯版本，大略相同。但上列前兩個版本，不知為何均用Alas, 按Alas多半有惋惜、悲傷(exclamation of regret, sorrow) 之意。從文意看，應為驚嘆或讚美之意。另外到底用何種力量創造了天地? 以上有用great power 和arm兩種，如中文版及英文版1),2),4)。而3)及5) 僅用一種arm. 若依文意可合理解讀為「藉伸展手臂而使出的巨大力量」；亦即3) 應為較可信的釋示，雖未明言這個力量巨大。

綜合上述，原中譯本可酌予更改為現代白話：「偉大的上帝呀，藉伸展手臂而使出的巨大力量，你創造了天地，你無所不能」。
