少女失戀情歌

少女泣訴《失戀情歌》

1950-60年代有關女生情歌不少，其中有 "The End of the Word" (世界末日)。歌詞略謂：

【陽光不再照射，海水不再衝回岸邊....我真不明白...生命如何繼續得了..因為鳥兒不再歌唱....星星不再閃耀.....因你不再愛我......歌聲純真可愛、動人....】

請聽 Skeeter Davis 歌聲....哀訴...山盟海誓不復存在，失落之愛，如同面臨世界末日.....

另一首曲子為 " Let Me Go, Lover", 曲中女聲唱出『讓我走吧，既然你不愛我...』。Song writer (作詞者)用 "let me go....", "set me free...." , "turn me loose", "let me be.. 等表示『放我走...』十分令人感動，只差未用 "release me.." , 或"set me at liberty", "forsake me"等詞.，否則『遺棄』用字全部用盡..........

請聽Teresa Brewer以慢步blues 曲調, 用感性的歌聲唱出對『負心人』的怨嗟、難捨與無奈............

諾貝爾文學獎得主-Bob Dylan

Blowing in the Wind...2016年諾貝爾文學獎頒給美國民謠搖滾歌手狄倫(Bob Dylan)，他最膾炙人口的一首歌--Blowin In The Wind -(飄在風中)詞、曲均美，值得品味!

簡介：Bob Dylan現年75歲(1941)，生於Minnesota，現居加州海濱Malibu，50多年來，
影響美國民俗音樂頗大。1960年代除本曲外另有"The Times They Are a-Changin"也十分出名

編按：
以上歌詞蘊含暗喻(metaphor)，反映時代-1960年代，美國青年崇尚自由，反抗傳統，主張一切順其自然。

第一段指没有不勞而獲(No pains, no gains)。第二段暗諷當時的反(越)戰思想(anti-war movements)，砲聲隆隆多少年後才永久停止(停戰)，重獲和平(砲聲永遠聼不到)。第三段指人類爭取自由、民權(civil rights)，久經苦難。第四段指人類的虛假，不敢正視現實(facing up to reality)。第五段，「人在做、天在看」，God is overseeing what man is doing down below. 並要求面對人們心中要求自由的呼喊，脫離心中苦痛的桎梏。最後一段，要正視人類為追求自由，生命的犠牲應有代價。

六段歌詞全用疑問句，一再質問(questioning 'how many...'.)，闡述心中的不解、以及對社會、政治難題的無奈與強烈的社會不滿與不安(social unrest)。曲調平淡、溫和，與心中的感受.....

寓人類的訴求於通俗的樂器(guitar, keyboards, and harmonica)，他是繼蕭伯納(George Bernard Shaw)之後，獲奧斯卡(另獲金球獎及Grammy獎)及諾貝爾文學獎的第二人。

A Summer Place-聽歌憶往事

Dear Friends:

多年前Fr. Thorton (美籍陶雅格神父)在台大外文系會話課上，問某一女生 "What was the movie you recently saw?"女生一時答不出來。半响後，陶神父再問， "Do you remember what's the name?"。她回答 "Oh,yes, it is Strange Love!!" 陶神父及其他同學茫然.....。陶用河南腔國語說『我怎麽沒看過?』真『奇』怪!全班同學哄堂大笑。

該女生目前定居美國，不知她仍否記得此事? 也許中國的『聊齋誌異』可謂 "Strange Love"，但年齢懸殊(不論女大男小或男大女小)，輩份有別的愛情故事呢? 東方人可能以異樣眼光來看，背後稱為『畸戀』(abnormal love?)；西方人則無此看法。『奇戀』?『畸戀』?只要兩情相悅即可。

"A Summer Place......." 是1960年早期電影，中譯：(畸戀)內容叙述年青少女愛上成熱已婚男士的故事，由Richard Egan, Troy Donahue,及Sandra Dee合演。該片主題曲由Andy Williams 主唱(1962).

A hot summer is always suggestive of a nice summer place.Time flies, and summer is gone. Shortly, leaves begin to fall, Halloween comes around and winter is at hand.....

However in Taiwan, summer lingers, and a good summer place is still missed and needed.

Now let's get back to 1960s when too many interesting and funny young days of ours were kept fresh in our memory......

Dance on little girl

It's Paul Anka, a favorite singer of ours in the year of 1961 when we were sophomores......

Listening to his songs, watching his hair and dancing style, we do have something to recollect....The song like this maybe makes us a bit younger.....
